The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of BMW German military car in 1:35 scale.
The Volkswagen Type 1, presented by Dr. Ferdynand Porsche in 1938, now widely known as the Garbus, did not hit as originally intended for civilian use. The Wehrmacht was looking for a vehicle for use in the field at that time, so he was busy testing. Already in 1938, the assumptions for a new car based on the project of Dr. Porsche were developed. At the end of the year, the first prototypes appeared, the first tests in the field underwent aggression in Poland. After the modification, the new car entered mass production under the name Kübelwagen Type 82. It performed various roles in the Wehrmacht ranks, serving in Europe and Africa. Vehicles adapted to African conditions have slight modifications to the suspension, additional air filters, and balloon tires.
The Tamiya kit allows building a model of the German Kübelwagen Type 82 terrain vehicle with Afrika Korps soldier. In the box, there is a chassis component, 3 frames, a transparent glass, and decals (allow reconstruction of vehicles from the 501st Heavy Tank Battalion, Luftwaffe plot unit or Ramcke Parachute Brigade).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
