Tamiya 1:35 M4A3 Sherman w/105mm howitzer

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American medium tank in 1:35 scale.

American industry focused on mass production was able to produce 49,000 Sherman tanks in less than three years. There was no need to interfere with a perfectly functioning machine, so it was decided on the basis of universal medium tanks to develop also special-purpose vehicles such as self-propelled artillery, tank destroyers, flamethrowers or direct fire support wagons. Such vehicle was the M4A3 Sherman (105) support tank. Instead of a standard 75 mm M3 cannon, a 105 mm howitzer mounted in his tower. Other changes to the basic Sherman were identical to the A3 series, which is a more powerful engine, a change in the front armor plate, an additional load hatch. 800 Sherman M4A3 (105) was produced at the Ford plant.

The Tamiya kit allows the US medium tank M4A3 Sherman (105) to be built together with the commander, the driver and three accompanying infantrymen. In the box are: 2 hull elements, 9 frames with parts, rubber tracks and decals (allow reconstruction of vehicles from the 6th Armored Division from the fighting in the Ardennes, 756th Tank Battalion or 14th Armored Division).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
