The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German tank destroyer in 1:35 scale.
While in 1940 the Czech origin tanks made a huge contribution to German successes in France, in the later stages of the war Pz.Kpfw 38(t) was already an obsolete construction. There was, however, a large technical facility that allowed rapid chassis production of those vehicles in Skoda factories. It was therefore decided to design a new tank destroyer based on Czech technology. Thats how the Jagdpanzer 38(t) came about. In April 1944 the first of the new vehicles were sent to frontline units. Hetzers were characterized by good weaponry (75 mm anti-tank gun), sloped armor and a very low profile. This made it the perfect vehicle for the defense. Despite its many flaws, as uncomfortable mounting of the cannon, Hetzer has proven to be an effective vehicle, which came to serve as the main German tank destroyer in the final stages of the war.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the German Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer tank destroyer in the medium variant production with one crew member. Box includes 5 frames with model elements, rubber tracks, and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
