The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German armored car in 1:35 scale.
Despite the restrictions imposed on Germany after World War I, they have started research on the development of armored vehicles. Their first armored cars were used in the German police units, but their true purpose was to be different. The basis of the doctrine of the German troops was fighting reconnaissance. Its task was to find the weakest point in the defense of the enemy and quickly inform the main forces of this fact before opponent could be able to strengthen his line. For this purpose the need for a fast and durable vehicle armed with offensive weapons and a radio station was noticed. The answer was Sd.Kfz. 232 heavy armored car, which was the eyes and ears of the Wehrmacht on every front during World War II.
Tamiya plastic model kit allows assembly of the German Sd.Kfz. 232 heavy armored car with a crew of two. Box includes two pieces of hull, 5 sprues with model elements and components to the valorization of the vehicle such as decals (allows reconstruction of the vehicles from either 5th, 15th, 19th or 21st Panzer Divisions), photo-etched parts and aluminum cannon.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
