The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German self propelled gun in 1:35 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the German M1096A3G self-propelled gun together with the commander and the driver. The vehicle is a deep modification of the American M109, manufactured in Germany. Work on the construction began in the mid-60s and lasted until the turn of the century. The German version has a modified cannon, its own fire control, and charging system. It was withdrawn from service in the first decade of the 21st century, replacing it with a new excellent vehicle - Panzerhaubitze 2000.
The Tamiya kit consists of a repacked Italeri model and Tamiya figures and decals. The box contains 4 frames with parts of the vehicle, a frame with elements of figures, a frame with transparent parts and decals (allow reconstruction of the vehicle from the artillery school or 145th Armored Artillery Battalion).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
