The kit proposed by IBG company includes a plastic model kit of Polish armored transporter in 1:35 scale.
Rosomak serve in the Polish Army since 2005. It replaced the obsolete SKOT and BWP-1 transporters. Produced almost entirely in Poland, under the license of Finnish company Patria. The vehicle has 8x8 traction, a layered armor with the ability to strengthen it and reaches a speed of 100 km / h. Rosomak was designed as a modular car, so that, depending on the armament and equipment used, it can perform various roles on the battlefield. In the basic version the vehicle is a combat vehicle and can transport between 6 and 8 troops. The crew consists of 3 people (driver, driver, gunner). The main armament is a fast-firing 30 mm ATK Mk 44 cannon, supplemented by KM UKM-2000C. Vehicle protection is an OBRA-3 system that provides tracking of the vehicle with a laser beam and integrated with 6 smoke grenades. The armament is mounted in the tower and is handled by the crew of the vehicle. The M1M version for Afghanistan has been equipped with anti-missile shields and an additional armor, fitted to the displacement foam. The vehicle has lost the ability to swim and can carry only 6 soldiers, but in return increased immunity. Under combat conditions, Rosomak is able to withstand multiple hits with RPG missiles without penetrating armor and crew losses. The greatest damage and loss brought attacks with improvised fugasses. Today, less than 700 Rosomans are used in the Polish Army of various types. The vehicles are being gradually improved and modernized, and new variants are being developed. Self-propelled Mortar Rak.
