The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German armored car in 1:35 scale.
Very important role in the German war machine played recognition and communication vehicles. Recognition was necessary to find a weak point in the opponents line (so-called gravity point, schwerpunkt), and good communication to quickly notify combat units of any orders. For this reason, at the expense of main armament, some of the reconnaissance vehicles were equipped with higher power radios. One such vehicle was the light Sd.Kfz 223, armed only with MG 13, but with a radio capable of contact with the command of the unit. From the armored car in the 222 variant, it externally extruded two components: a smaller, rear-mounted turret with a rifle, and a folding rectangular antenna mounted on the roof of the vehicle. Fewer than 600 vehicles of this type were produced, most of which were used in reconnaissance and mechanized units.
Tamiya kit allows building the German lightweight car Sd.Kfz. 223 with the commander. The kit includes: 2 parts of the hull, 4 frames with parts of the model, photo etched parts of the turret, string and decals (allow to reconstruct the vehicles of the 1st, 2nd, 5th, 15th, 21st Armored Division or Armored Grenadier Division Grossdeutschland).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
