The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German tank destroyer in 1:35 scale.
At the end of 1943, the first German tank destroyer with a closed compartment arose battle. It was designed primarily for new PaK 42 L/70 cannon, designed for Panther D tanks. Difficulties in the supply of weapons resulted, however, in that the first Jagdpanzers were equipped with PaK 39 cannons. Vehicles were met with great criticism because cheaper and similarly armed Stugs proved to work well both as assault guns and tank destroyers. It was not until the introduction of Jagdpanzers version Lang increased the combat value of these vehicles. Until the end of the war about 2,000 tank destroyers, type Jagdpanzer IV were produced. Despite the good performance, they were unpopular due to the poor versatility on the battlefield. They fought in Italy, Western Europe, and the Eastern Front.
Tamiya kit allows for the assembly of a German tank destroyer of World War II Jagdpanzer IV/70 Lang, along with the commander. The box contains 2 parts of the hull, 4 sprues with model elements, rubber tracks, and decals (allow reconstruction of the vehicle 2, 9, 116, Panzer Divisions, or the school division Panzer Lehr).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
