Tamiya 1:35 M1046 Humvee w/TOW missile launcher

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of American military car in 1:35 scale.

Introduced into active service in 1985 Humvee off-road vehicle replaced the US Armed Forces jeeps and cars to 1.1/4 tons. As a versatile vehicle, it took over the role previously performed by a wide range of different vehicles. Humvee served as a first line car, transportation, sanitation and even as weapons carrying platform. However, their primary purpose is to transport soldiers and their direct support to the battle. Humvee has a possibility to mount the whole range of weapons on them, from HMG M2HB, the M19 grenade launcher, a set of AA Stinger to the ATM BGM-71 TOW. TOW anti-tank kit provides support for a column of vehicles against armored targets. The latest versions of its optical missiles targeting via cable are provided with up to 4.5 km and are able to penetrate armor up to 1000 mm. BGM-71 are among the most effective and most commonly used anti-tank sets in the world.

Tamiya kit allows assembly of the American M1046 Humvee truck model, armed with anti-tank guided missiles BGM-71 TOW launcher, along with two soldiers. Box includes 5 sprues with elements of a car, sprue with transparent windows, rubber wheels and decals (allows reconstruction of vehicles of the 1st Marine Division, 8th Marine Regiment KFOR, 3rd Mechanized Infantry Division and the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
