More info
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of Russian tank destroyer in 1:35 scale.
The Tamiya kit allows building the SU-76M Soviet World War II self-propelled gun model, together with three crew members. The vehicle was designed based on the chassis of the T-70 tank. He was armed with a very good and versatile ZIS-3 cannon, which was capable of eliminating both infantry and armored units of the enemy. Low cost and relatively simple construction caused the Su-76 to be the second most heavily armored vehicle of the Red Army.
The box features 5 frames with model elements, a frame with crew member elements, a frame with transparent headlamps, towing ropes, and decals (allowing the vehicle to be reconstructed from the 11th Armored Artillery Battalion).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
