Tamiya 1:35 M20 Armored Utility Car

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of French armored car in 1:35 scale.

In 1942, the US Army placed an order for a multi-purpose armored car. Ford has answered with the project of M20 vehicle on the basis of already functioning in the U.S. Army armored M8 Greyhound cars. The vehicle was armed with a great 12.7 mm MG on a rotating basis. Another weapon was a recoilless Bazooka launcher, carried inside the vehicle. The saved space was allocated for a radio station, a folding table for maps and place for an additional 4 crew members. As a result, the vehicle had proved itself as a command car in the branches of tank destroyers, armored and mechanized divisions. One of these cars was used by the General Patton himself.

Tamiya plastic model kit allows building the American M20 armored car model with a driver and observer-gunner. Box includes 6 frames and decals (allow reconstruction of vehicles from the US 2nd Armoured Division, 807th Tank Destroyer Battalion, or the French 5th Armored Division).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
