The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German anti-aircraft gun in 1:35 scale.
One of the basic German anti-aircraft guns was FlaK caliber 37 mm. It was developed in secret from Western countries, due to the limitations contained in the Treaty of Versailles. 3.7cm FlaK 18 went to the army in 1935 and was continually expanded until the end of World War II. Model 36 was a lighter version of the gun, and the model 37 was equipped with modern optical Zeisssa crosshair. Both came into service before the start of the war. 37 mm cannons were automatic, loaded with magazine boxes from above, 6 rounds in each. Practical rate of fire was 120 rounds per minute. There were also adapted to fire ground targets using anti-tank ammunition. Some of the 3.7 cm FlaK cannons were used to create a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun and artillery mounted on Sd.Kfz 7 tractors or other vehicles.
Tamiya kit allows assembly of the German anti-aircraft cannon 3.7 cm FlaK 37 model with a crew of five people. The box contains 4 sprues with elements of guns and decals.
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
