More info

The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German military car in 1:35 scale.

One of the biggest problems faced by the German armies was the variety of equipment used by Wehrmacht units. In order to unify equipment, the Einheits program was introduced, dividing transport vehicles into 3 types - light, medium and heavy. To the last group came an off-road car designed by Horch. Its basic model, 1a, was designed to transport up to 6 passengers at up to 400 km. Very good field characteristics made these cars often adapt to other roles. In the Wehrmacht Horch served as a transport vehicle, a linker, an ambulance, a reconnaissance vehicle, an artillery tractor, and even a platform for carrying weapons and anti-aircraft lighters. By the end of the war, more than 5,000 such cars were produced.

The Tamiya kit allows you to build a German Horch 1a off-road car to your driver. The car can be glued together with a folded or folded roof. The box contains 3 frames with elements of the model, a transparent frame with plastic panes, towing ropes and decals (allow reconstruction of Wehrmacht units [Grossdeutschland Division of Armored Grenadiers], SS [1, 2, or 3 The SS Armored Division, the Luftwaffe [Hermann Göring Armored Division] or the Afrika Korps [21st Armored Division]).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints according to the proposed paint scheme in the instruction. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

Paints suggested by the manufacturer for the best effect:
